Magic Home Entertainment Nominated for 2007 CSIA Apex Award
Top technology companies from throughout Colorado to be recognized at award ceremony June 5, 2007
(Denver, CO Friday, May 11, 2007) — Magic Home Entertainment (MHE) announced it has been nominated to the 2007 CSIA APEX Awards, the yearâs premier event for recognizing outstanding accomplishments and leadership by Coloradoâs advanced technology companies and people. The event, presented by CSIA, Coloradoâs Technology Association, will take place June 5, 2007 at the Seawell Ballroom in the Denver Center for Performing Arts Complex in Denver.
âWe are pleased to be named a nominee for this state-wide honor so soon after we just completed the national launch of our premier product, moodSeer,â said Gregory Grubbs, CEO of MHE. âTo be given this recognition as one of the leaders in Coloradoâs technology market is quite an accomplishment in our first year.â Magic Home Entertainment has been nominated as âRookie of the Yearâ as well as offering the âMost Innovative Technology Product.â
âItâs no mystery that many Colorado technology companies have had great success and developments this past year,â said Su Hawk, president, CSIA. âOur APEX Awards provide the industry a once-a-year opportunity to celebrate their success, and generate awareness around these notable companiesâ
Magic Home Entertainment recently launched its premiere product, moodSeer at the Electronics House Expo (EHX) Spring 2007 in Orlando last March. This state-of-the-art audio component system was well received by other participants and the media at EHX.
The moodSeer system is a complement to any home theater or entertainment center and is designed to be a âGPS system for extensive music collections.â This multi-room, multi-source home audio component is comprised of the moodCenter, the main unit where all the music is stored, moodSpot, individual room players and moodBeamer, a hand-held remote controller.
According to CSIAâs announcement of the Awards event, “The nominated companies represent the leaders of Coloradoâs IT market,” said Jackie Walden, Chair of the CSIA 2007 Apex Awards Committee. “Itâs important to recognize the achievements made by the IT industry in our state, as well as the people behind the successes. These nominees, as well as the guests, represent the innovation and business success of technology in Colorado,” she said.
“The Colorado technology market continues to intensify, and we are even more impressed about the nominees this year because of the sophistication of and thoughtfulness from each of the nominations,” said Su Hawk, president of CSIA. “The companies nominated this year represent a broad spectrum of IT products and services, showing the innovation, intensity and inspiration that embodies why our industry is so strong,” she said.
The 2007 APEX Awards event is expected to draw more than 600 attendees from throughout the region. Tickets are available at www.csiaonline.com (click on the Apex Awards information) or call CSIA at 303.592.4070.
The moodSeer system is the premier product of Magic Home Entertainment, LLC, a Colorado-based company established in February 2005. For more information, go to www.moodSeer.com or call 303-376-6383.
